About
Surrounded By Existence is the brainchild of Eigil Dragvik, best known from Norwegian Grammy nominees Dwaal.
With an excess of creativity and ideas that did not suit Dwaal, Dragvik has gathered a group of musicians, who together have created the album "Love Will Not Save You".
An album where the darker aspects of life are painted with a wide range of brushes, with the entire color spectrum on the palette. A journey through the mind, where little glimpses of sunshine force their way in. Personal demons accompanied by melancholy and aggression.
Together with Jonatan Eikum (Astrosaur), Stian Hammer (Dwaal), Dag-Ole Huseby (Rongeur), Audun Mehl (Forcefed Horsehead) and Bjørnar Kristiansen (Dwaal), Dragvik has created a soundscape with a clear kinship to Dwaal, but which at the same time stands firmly on its own legs.
The album was recorded by Dragvik and Morten Øby in Taakeheimen Studio over a period of two years.
